November - Citizenship
Jase Teegarden
When I think of a good classroom citizen, I think of Jase! He always shows GRR! He is safe, respectful, and responsible, and is kind and helpful to others.
October - Integrity
Hayden O'Dell
Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. That describes Hayden perfectly! He makes good choices every day.
Opinion Writing
To kick off our opinion writing unit, students in room 17 have been writing about why they should get to take another field trip this year! They wrote about how field trips can help students learn and filmed a video to convince Mrs. Linhart. They also considered the other side: why might we not get to take 2 field trips this year? The students decided that it might be too expensive. So they came up with some ideas to earn money! Check out the movies here and here on Google Drive.
Aug./Sept. - Ambition & Responsibility
Brooklyn Sharp
Brooklyn works hard and sets ambitious goals for herself. She is also very responsible and trustworthy. I can count on her to help out and to do the right thing.
December - Compassion
Madelynn Heavelow
Compassion is caring about others. They are kind and supportive of others, and do their best to help those in need. Madelynn is always a caring, supportive friend to others, and makes a point to include others who might be left out. I admire that very much!
January - Respect
When students are respectful, they use kind words, they are honest, and they follow directions the first time.
February - Cooperation
Cooperation is helping others to solve problems and complete tasks. It is being a team player!
March - Initiative
When you show initiative, you are an independent problem-solver!
April - Perseverance
Perseverance is not giving up, even when the task gets difficult.
May - Self-Control
Self-control is keeping your emotions and desires in check, even when it gets tough. Self-control means keeping your cool, even if you are upset.
